Guidelines for Special Issues

Authors submitting to a special issue should note the following requirements in addition to the standard Author Guidelines.

  • Papers must fall within the stated scope of the special issue.
  • All manuscripts must follow the IJAR Manuscript Template and formatting standards.
  • Indicate the special issue title clearly in your submission cover letter or submission form.
  • Work submitted to a special issue undergoes the same double-blind peer review as regular submissions.
  • Manuscripts submitted after the stated deadline may be considered for a future regular issue.
  • Authors of multi-paper groups are advised to coordinate with the guest editor before submission.
  • Article processing charges (APC) apply and are identical to regular issue rates.
